Thick Envelopes is the rebirth of the original TE site that was geared towards the college preparation and acceptance audience. We'll be relaunching the site with information on college preparation, testing, tips and tricks, college selection, info on how to pick a major, plus give you access to the lounge, where you can hang out and play a few games or listen to music. In addition there will be information on how to pay for college and scholarship details. Stay tuned as TE gets relaunched!

High School College Preparation Calendar

Seniors
By now you should have signed up for the standardized tests you will take in this last round. Don't forget to study hard for them! Also, get your list of schools to apply to finalized and start filling out those applications.

Juniors
Hopefully you're falling into your role as an upperclassman nicely and getting good grades. If not, this is really the time to kick it up a notch. You want to get on the good side of your teachers this year to get some awesome teacher recommendations.

Sophomores
Start thinking about taking the PSAT and preparing for other tests in the future. Pick the subjects that you excel in to help you prepare for the SAT II Subject Tests that are looming on the not-too-distant horizon.

Freshman
With the first month of high school behind you, you should already be starting to talk to friends, teachers, and upperclassmen about what classes to take in the coming years. Start putting your 4-year plan on paper, with the help of a counselor preferably.
